MISSION
Detroit-based entrepreneur Stephen Davis was ready to expand his travel gear business, acknowledging his brand could use a refresh. The goal was to evolve the brand while retaining key concepts that made it go viral.
IDEA
TAKE OFF Luggage uses detachable wheels to allow customers to carry on their TAKE OFF suitcase as a personal item, saving them money. This wheel motif was present in the original mark, but the typography didn’t do much to capture the spirit of the brand. So, I upgraded the logotype with characters that convey speed, strength, and a high urban quality—all cues for a dope travel (and TSA) experience.
